The Zambian TIME (Training In Ministry by Extension) program, a joint effort between that Conference and the Society, is at the half way mark with encouraging results. The 6 completed modules covered: Biblical Interpretation & Beliefs, Old & New Testament Survey, Church Leadership & Administration and Tithing. Thanks to presenters: Rev. Gordon Lawton, Rev. Carton Ferguson (Jamaica), Rev. Ian Ingoe (New Zealand), Rev. Brent Hannah, Rev. Matthew Olson and Brother Jon Gerstel.
The remaining 6 modules will be facilitated over the next 3 quarters: April, June & Sept. 2016. Rev. Nicholas Kersten and Pastor Garfield Miller have consented to travel to Zambia, March 28 – April 7, 2016, as the 4th of 6 teams of presenters. They will cover Christian Education and SDB History/Polity.
Please persist in keeping these ministers and this project in your prayers. All funds from Gospel Ties 5K and other contributions were spent on the project but still with 6 modules to go we have a deficit of $2,845.14.
The Society continues to raise funds and seek presenters for remaining modules from US & Canada, and other Conferences,
