Poverty is a major problem in Zambia and this project will improve the lives of many in the SDB family; providing food and resources for basic living and ministry.
This project will be sustainable and revolving. Beneficiaries will be provided with training, 5 chickens (1 cock & 4 hens) and support. They will undergo three weeks of training to acquire skill to take care of the chickens and to make coops, feed & medicines from locally grown crops and natural resources. Over time beneficiaries would be able to multiply their five chickens, have eggs & chicken meat for their families, and donate sets of grown chickens to other beneficiaries, while still maintaining thriving coops.
With support, this project can start with five beneficiaries and cost a total of $1,750. Will you support “teaching others to fish”?
