In the east African country of Rwanda, some of our SDB Churches were forced to close the doors of their facilities until they comply with government regulations, some of which were necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic. For example, churches are now required to construct hand-washing stations, and have sanitizing equipment on hand. Of the 19 churches in the Rwanda SDB Conference which need to be re-opened, 7 so far have attained to that standard, and the others need help with prayers and with resources to get the job done. Those temples need to be built up and re-opened.
Nicaragua in Central America has a SDB ministry on Corn Island, which is on the eastern side of the country, surrounded by the Caribbean Sea. Pastor Shirley Morgan leads the ministry there with her husband Fernando. They are constructing a ministry center there, to facilitate the ministries they are conducting to children, young adults, and senior citizens. The construction is in progress, but all the funds are not there as yet to see it to completion. Here is another temple which needs to be built up.
“In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.” Ephesians 2:21
