With passion of heart, Jennifer Dixon, deaconess and a leader of the West Palm Beach SDB Church is putting actions to a dream she believes God has given her to open a residence for at-risk girls – Lydia’s Home. With some support, all paper work for the state including tax exemption (501 C3) have already been completed and Lydia’s Home PBC Inc. is being licensed by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to accommodate 10 girls, ages 13-18.
The DCF will help support each child and there are grants available, accessible after the home is opened. However, before the opening, $124,379 (representing six months operational expenses) is required.
Your support will help Lydia’s Home meet its planned opening for summer 2016.
“The [Lydia’s Home] Board of Directors would like to thank you for your time, and we hope you will partner with us as we work together to help our children.”
