This year Missions Week will be February 20-26, with Sabbath February 26 being designated as Missions Sabbath. This year’s theme is, “Doing Our Utmost To Reach The Uttermost,” with Acts 1:8 as the theme verse. For each day during that week, we will publish a brief missions devotional by video, which will be broadcast on all our social media pages and on our website. These daily videos will focus on seven mandates of our mission, and will be done by Pastor Nate Crandall and Miriam Berg. On Missions Sabbath, February 26, we encourage all our churches to have a missions emphasis in some way. We will provide a Missions Sermon which may be used in worship that day.
Just as we did last year, we are asking churches to receive a missions offering on Missions Sabbath, February 26, and send that offering to the Missionary Society by March 31. In addition, your Missions Sabbath offering this year will be matched by the SDB Memorial Fund Trustees through a partnership in which we are gratefully engaged. So every dollar you give will be doubled. The church which sends in the largest offering will win the Missions Week Award. Is your church willing to do its utmost to win the uttermost to Jesus?
All proceeds from your offering will be divided evenly between the SDB Africa Bible College, which began in July 2021, and the Prayer Tabernacle church plant in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
“…you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
