Joel and Laura Sutton Update – Haiti

The Suttons, in their recent update, exclamed that it is hard to believe they are approaching their third year anniversary in Haiti and that their almost three years there have been “a blessing scattered with hardships”. They conclude that change is constant on the mission field, with the coming and going of RMI missionaries and the loss of one member of their missionary community in a car accident.

The Suttons believe that in many ways, Haiti is showing some recovery from hurricane damage last year. However, there are still many starving, without shelter and clean water. They should by now be in the US for the month of August, catching up with family, friends, supporters, and annual doctor/dentist visits. For more update details go to:

“We still very much need your prayers and financial support… Regardless of the amount you can give, your prayers are most important…” – Laura Sutton

Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.“- 1 Sam 7:1 2
