Prayer partners are asked to pray again for SDBs in Southern Malawi. They are being affected by more severe flooding.

“I write to inform you and all believers about the disaster which has befallen us. Last week Malawi was devastated with floods in some parts of the southern region. The floods were caused by continuous rainfall that started on fifth March to eighth March. I appreciate for the prayers from believers during this difficult and trying time.  Four Districts were affected and according to report from the Department of Disaster Management, the summary is as follows:

Affected households  147,819  (15,185 displace living in camps where safe water is not available.)

Affected people       739,790

Missing 11             Deaths 45

(More recent news reports put the death toll at over 55)

During the floods we receive information that three churches have collapsed.
The country is mourning and we need your payers.
