Pastors Dave Stall, John Pethtel and Steve Osborn and their interpreter, Bajek Deng are presently in Gambela, Ethiopia on a follow-up trip to minister to a group of refugees from South Sudan, of the Nuer tribe. A word from our team in Gambela,
Hey Prayer Partners –
We are doing well – nobody had gotten really sick and the heat has been “a dry heat” Very much enjoying getting to know my new friends among the Nuer tribe here in Ethiopia.
If you happen to hear anything about unrest here in Gambela, it is between two of the non-Ethiopian tribes living around the city. However, from what we have seen it had only amounted to posturing so far. Lots of government soldiers with guns have come in to keep things quiet. But it may impact our plans of visiting other church groups in the area.
Things are going great here in our training with the church leaders. Please keep praying for wisdom in our teaching and decisions about traveling.
They are schedule to return Feb 5, 2016. Please keep them in your prayer.
“For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” [Acts 13:47]
