Zambia Sustainable Project Update

Zambia SDB has started its sustainable chicken rearing project. The aim initially is to empower ten (10) families with livestock training and five (5) chickens: 1 rooster & 4 hens. Five (5) families have so far benefited. In addition to poultry care, they were trained to built coops and are getting periodic follow-up support. Chickens are expected to double by Dec 2017 and five (5) chickens from each family will then be given to other families. This should significantly reduce poverty which plaques the majority membership in Zambia. By 2020 it is projected that most SDB families will have chickens for their food and income.

These 5 families have benefited from the support that came through the Missionary Society… Thank you for your love support and may God continue to bless all those behind this support. –  Brother Quistin Chalwe
