The SDB Conference of Rwanda is seeking partners towards providing a water well to supply SDBs in Akayange, Rwanda and immediate neighbors with drinkable water. Many people in the Akayange area are getting sick from consuming contaminated water. It is believed that when this well is up and running the lives of people in the surrounding area will be improved and the Church will be seen as a friend of the community.

Suitable land is already available on the church property, just requiring now for the well to be dug and the equipment installed. The total cost is about $8,850. Through the Society $6,145 has so far been invested, therefore a further $2,705 is needed to make drinking water a reality in Akayange.

As with all projects the  Society partner in, we solicit periodic updates and a final report when finished & commissioned.

“The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; …
I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them”
Isaiah 41:17
