Training Opportunity for Advocates

11/5/2012

The Missions Advocates, elected key-workers for the Missionary Society in each congregation, have the extraordinary opportunity to participate in a local college course on global evangelism with the possibility of obtaining a scholarship by the Society to help with the tuition of the course.  The PERSPECTIVES course is “how every believer can be intimately woven into the story of God using His people to be a blessing to all the peoples of the earth.”

The PERSPECTIVES course involves:

  •         Weekly meeting over 15 weeks
  •         Instruction from 15 different instructors
  •         A Perspectives Reader with over 100 articles
  •         Yet, the course is scalable to the student’s time constraints

Each class typically schedules a lineup of Biblical scholars, missionaries, pastors, professors, and any others that can provide wealth of global experience and passion to each lesson. Advocates can visit www.perspectives.org to get more information about the course and to find one taking place near them for Spring 2013.

If you know or are a Missions Advocate that would be interested in the program, download the PERSEPECTIVES scholarship by clicking the following link: Perspectives_Scholarship_App.pdf
