Tanzania Young Adult Mission 2018

The SDB Missionary Society is on a global recruitment drive for a small team of Young Adults for a missions trip to Tanzania (in East Africa) this summer, July 11-23, 2018.

Roughly one-third of the population in Tanzania is Muslim, one-third profess Christianity and the remaining third adhere to elements of their indigenous religious practices. The Missionary Society and the Tanzanian SDB Conference has had a productive partnership for several years and with this trip, they are planning greater inroads in winning souls in that part of Africa. The Tanzania conference has identified several potential areas of ministry including: tutoring children, Vacation Bible School (VBS), computer studies for beginners, light construction work and teaching music.  Small team of only 5 to 7 members, so make application early.

Please prayerfully consider responding to this opportunity to put your gifts to purpose in Africa this summer. The team will be finalized by April 30, 2018.

“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)

The exact focus of this missions trip is still being fine-tuned but will more than lightly come from the potential areas of ministry listed in the post. Please contact info@sdbmissions.org for more information or to express your interest.
