Robango Ryakitimbo, the General Secretary contacted our office to share the good news of a new congregation joining their conference of churches in Tanzania in early June of 2015.   At the end of their Tanzania SDB Conference meetings at Usa River they were approached by the pastor and thirty-eight members of an independent group of worshipers called CHRISTIAN CENTRE MINISTRIES.

Ryakitmbo shares: “They expressed their desire to become part of the S.D.B. family of churches.   They were accepted after an hour of questions and answers…  It is significant to note that, a seventy seater church building PREVIOUSLY run by the group is now an S.D.B. facility with an S.D.B. logo prominently displayed outside the church.  The annex structures are now catering for offices. All these were officiated in the presence of local authorities who attested and appended their signatures on the signed agreement.”

The Tanzania SDB leadership communicated that they are looking at using the Arudenco facilities as their conference headquarters because of its good condition and size.  Praise God for the facilities, but give special thanks for the new members to the family and their commitment to build the Kingdom of Jesus Christ as Seventh Day Baptists.
