Our brethren in Burundi report that the community of Gitaza is experiencing many challenges due to flooding. Their information reveal that the Gitaza SDB worship building was destroyed by that flooding and 100 families from the district are now homeless, with some suffering greatly. Gitaza SDB brethren are having a major problem in finding another place to worship, mainly due to funding. They sent thanks in advance for our prayers – “Thank you very much for your prayer that we beg you to keep us. God bless you and bless your family.” – Pastor Gilbert NDUWAYO (General Secretary of Burundi SDB Conference).

Let us pray for our brothers, sisters and community members in Burundi that families find places to live, the replacement of things lost and the Gitaza SDB church finding another place for worship.

“But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you.” – Isaiah 43:1-2a
