Rwanda Youth Vocational Training

The SDB Conference of Rwanda is seeking assistance to empower their youths  with skills so that they can earn for themselves. They are experiencing a very high level of unemployment among the youths, which results in additional burden on the church instead of contribution.

It is their belief that the Christian life is not of a parasite but of industry and service. Hence, a plan to lift up youths with skills training. In the first year they intend to train 60 youths in construction-carpentry. By the second year they will add sewing and expect 90 persons in training. In the thrid year they believe students will increase to 120. The project has an indefinite duration but required funding will gradually reduce until self-sufficiency in the fourth year.

The first year is projected to cost $2,820.70

They seek your support to empower their youths to use their hands to feed themselves.  They really need your help!

“May the favor of the Lord our God be ours. Prosper the work of our hands!    Prosper the work of our hands!”- Psalm 90:17
