Rwanda Vocational Project Update

Earlier this year, with donations, the Missionary Society was able to partner with the Rwanda SDB Conference to open their Vocations Training Center (VTC). With the injection of $1,861 (60% of required funds for the first year) the VTC program commenced August 14, 2017.

The report is that the program is going well. Twenty-five (25) young men are now being trained in construction and carpentry, with plans to introduce sewing, targeted at females, in the 2nd year. This is great news from our Rwandan brethren! The number of students is lower than expected but they believe many more will start in the 2nd year.

On behalf of all members of the SDB Rwanda Conference and …all the beneficiaries of the center (VTC) particularly, I would like to warmly thank SDB MS and its partners… –  Jean de Dieu
