India SDBs Revisit Myanmar

IndiaPicOur SDB Brethren in Manipur, India have the vision to cross boarders to bring the gospel to remote villages in Myanmar. Thanks to your support, last November they visited Lungkhai, Myanmar as well as other nearby villages to assess the condition of their faith. They found that some villages have Baptist Churches, but in some villages people still worship idols.

In February 2017, they continued their mission in Myanmar by making a trip to Cikha. This was particularly difficult because of the economic blockade in Manipur, northern India. They preached the gospel and distributed fifteen bags of rice. The missions trip cost $485. To honor the Great Commission they are praying for more support to make many other trips to go to places in Myanmar where people are more isolated and do not know Christ.

“The assistance you (Missionary Society) and the other church(es) provide for the lost people in Myanmar will bring us hope…”  – David Ruatmuansang, Secretary, SDB Conference, India.

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.”Matthew 24:14
