Hope In Action – Cameroon

Hope continues to be in action as our SDB Brethren in  the Republic of Cameroon were able, in early September, to go out into Ebonji to cover a large remote area with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and needed basic food items. They report that it was with joy and hope that they received the funds for that Mission for Compassion Campaign.

Some of the funds they received were from the Gospel Feet 5K fundraiser at General Conference 2017 – raising funds to partner with SDB Missions across the globe to bring hope. With your donations  the Society was also able to send funds to aid survivors of a deadly mudslide in Sierra Leone and refugees in South Sudan. Thanks for continued giving.

“We were received with joy and gratitude by the Ebonji community and wished us come back to them again. We advised them to believe and hope in God who supplies to all humanity.”   –  Rev. John Mpako

“The LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.” –  Psalm 147:11
