Bringing Water to the Thirsty

We have received requests from our brothers and sisters abroad to help them minister to communities where access to clean water is hard or impossible to obtain.

In the remote community of Magbema, Sierra Leone they have to trek a steep hill each time they leave the village for cleaning or gathering water to bring back for drinking or cooking.  Other SDB served communities in Uganda, Rwanda, and Liberia also struggle to access clean water.

Gathering water can occupy large amount of time for children keeping them from attending school because the families need their help.  Without clean water adults and children alike are susceptible to water borne diseases and other life threating health issues.

Depending on the location and the local contributions, we may be able to get a well and pump installed with as little as $2,000 per community. Please, consider praying & giving to aid our brothers and sisters in Africa as they bring lifesaving water to their communities for God’s glory.

“The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; … I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them”– Isaiah 41:17
